Paul & Sonia had a vision of a soft, romantic, crimson-saturated wedding which came to realization this spring. Our session started with the bridal party as they got ready for the big day in a beautiful double suite at the DoubleTree in downtown Modesto, Ca. Sonia's hair was styled into a smooth and classic updo with dainty tiara to complete the look. The bling didn't stop there; she chose bold 6-inch glittery silver heels and her elegant bridal bouquet consisted of red roses with jeweled centers. After everyone was ready, we took the girls and guys out separately for some wedding party photos…then it was off to the wedding and reception location, just a couple of short blocks away. Paul & Sonia wanted a downtown wedding filled with charm, so they chose Galletto Ristorante as their venue. The beautiful covered patio provided the elegant and warm feeling they were looking for. Red rose petals lined the aisle and beautiful candle vases added a soft glow. After the wedding ceremony, the space was transformed for the reception. Round tables with red linens were topped with chic centerpiece of sparkling vases filled with red roses and surrounded by candles. To compliment the bold red decor, the guest book table and hors d'oeuvres tables had contrasty black and white damask print on the table linens which gave the space a dramatic flair. The three tier wedding cake, made of square layers, was topped with a silver "C" for the couples last name. At the end of the night, we went out to the street for one last shot of the newlyweds surrounded by the lights of the city and the glow of cars passing by.
