Perfect bouquet for a winter wedding bridesmaid. This one belongs to Monica's maid of honor, Shannon.

Monica, getting her dress laced up, by her mother. - Some photos are too pretty not to repeat. We have been doing this shot for over 10 years. Although, we capture new and unique photographs for every wedding, some photographs stand the test of time. If we are photographing your wedding and your dress laces-up, we are going to capture this photo for you...because who wouldn't want this? 

As soon as we pulled into the parking lot for the National Hotel, we saw this little balcony and though "humm, wonder if that's attached to their room?"...and it was!!!

Monica mentioned that she liked the street lamps in Nevada City, so we made sure to include one in their portraits.

Downtown Nevada City has an endless supply of photo opportunities.

When we saw this wall, we knew we needed to shoot there!

There was a light rain all through Darren & Monica's pre-ceremony portraits, but they didn't let it bother them.

We had the opportunity to shoot at so many spots before the wedding. Thanks so much to Darren and Monica for giving us so much time for portraits!!

The Upper Gallery at Miners Foundry is a great setting for a wedding! Darren and Monica did a wonderful job of making this space their own with the addition of trees and rustic flower arrangements.

The Stone Hall was the perfect setting for this gorgeous reception. It was built in 1859 using native stone and heavy exposed beams. Today, it features also include charming chandeliers, a working stone fireplace, and antique furnishings.

After their ceremony, the rain was heaver then before, but the nice people at Nevada City Winery invited us into their barrel room for portraits.

The newlyweds clear umbrella made for a super cute prop!!!
